Never let it be said that the Employment Team at Right2Work are not perfectly cast…!
Employment Adviser Claire Round explains: “Rachel from Barrow has had a few sessions in the plaster room at Furness General Hospital. Firstly she observed a cast being put on by having it put on her own left arm. Each section was explained by the practitioner.”
“Then she was offered the chance to apply a cast on her job coach, Sarah. Rachel had remembered the process well, being observed by trained staff at all times. The practitioners said that Rachel’s cast was exceptionally neat and great quality for a first attempt.”
Claire adds, “Rachel has also observed casts being removed, helped to clean the plaster buckets and support the running of the room. The staff are very encouraging and helpful in demonstrating procedures. Rachel is beginning to learn the different positions for arms – having casts put on in accordance with the injury.”
All in all, a pretty ‘armless day’s work for the Right2Work Job Coaches!
