We’re on a quest here at R2W to making life ‘appy’ thanks to some top tech.
One of our team at ‘Work & Learn’, Grant ‘Laal G’ Huck has been busy supporting a young fella with job skills and the world of work thanks to a newish app called ‘autiquest’.
Its designed to assist anyone with autism…and you can see our Grant with Curtis Pemberton (he’s a Supported Internship Client) using the Autiquest App.
Grant tells us more:
“Curtis is Autistic and the Furness Work & Learn team are supporting him at his Internship with CandoFM in the South Lakes. I have been showing him how the Autiquest App can help him with Interviews, Job Applications and coping at work. The App will be extremely handy for him when our scheme finishes in June, as it will help to replace us and remind Curtis of all the helpful tips and advise that he will need to remember as his career develops.“
You can download the app and have a play with it yourself – go to video here to find out more
Grant adds:
“This is Inarm Osborn, Author of the Autiquest App, Board Member of the ELFRIDA Society and Founder of Centa Co. a Day Care Centre in Kent for people with Autism and other Learning Disabilities. I worked directly with Inarm to provide ideas for inclusion in the App.“
Right2Work we’re given acknowledgement in helping promote and develop the tech…
